Nectar of Life

In Native American symbolism, the hummingbird represents the nectar of life. To encounter this delicate being—even for a fleeting moment—is to brush against the Divine. That, at least, was my experience when I crossed paths with one twice during a journey through South America some years ago.
I painted the hummingbird with energy radiating from its small heart centre, swirling outward into the space around it—uplifting the atmosphere and offering its quiet blessing to the quantum field.
Like the nectar of life, its presence brings a sweetness—an extra vitality—to a world that can often feel dull or full of pain. A gentle reminder that even the smallest heart can carry light.
